mock ups of my album magazine advert

I have created 3 diiferent mock up album magazine adverts.this is because I want to show examples of range of different ones. the first is a darkened image of a possible digipak album cover, using the same writing font and colour i have repeated the orginal artist and album name. i have also added a relaease date, different ways someone could have the album and the exclusive track that it includes. the second magazine advert is in balck and white which is like a possible album cover. this one seem a little boring but there is clear syenergy between them two. again it includes differnet ways to have the album, the title of the album, the name of teh artist,the exclusive single in the album and the release date. then finally the bottom magazine advert, this is using a different image to teh album cover but the same image that is inside the digipak. it is all in colour, and like the other two magazine adverts includes the details and is wrot ein teh same font and colour. this also has a smaller image on it which shows the actual album cover.

I have put the orginal album magazine adverts and change the size of them to A4. i have also used the ideas of the orginal 3 magazine adverts to create a forth. this magazine advert has the black and white image that is in the inside of the digipak and has the small image of the album cover of the girl smiling and in colour which makes it stands out a lot more than teh other colour magazine advert that has teh album cover on it. this also contains the name of the artist, the name of the album, different ways that the target auidence can get the album, what single it features and the release date. which is very simular to the other black and white advert, however the writing has been resized to make the writing a lot more readable and obvious and the writing has also been moved so it is more easier to read as well.

I have drawn some album magazine adverts that i think that i would use based on my digipak. on the front inculdes the date on a few of the them. the name of the artist. a song that is being featured on a few of them and at the bottom of each one the different ways someone can buy this track.

In the making of my digipak I was unsure of what I want my digipak to look like so I created 2 mock up digipaks. 1 is in colour of the girl at the water fall. each picture is showing synergy as the girl is wearing the same outfit in two of the pictures and the other two pictures are of the scenery at different points. They are all in the same effect which is slightly darkened to you can see the features better. The name of the artist is in white and wrote in the font style of Monterey BT. And is placed at the bottom right hand side as it is out of the way of the main features of the picture. The second digipak is in black and white of the girl at the bench. Again this shows synergy as the two picture that have the artist in are wearing the same clothes just sat in a different way. these photos unlike the coloured digipak dont have any eye contact with the auidence. The other two pictures that are also in black and white are images of the bench with noone on it. But they are at different angles. The artist name and the title of the album are again wrote in white and in the font of Monterey BT however this time it is placed in the bottom left corner of the picture.

I have decided that I should fuse my two designs for my digipak to create a third design that has both colour and black and white. On the outside I have used the colour image of the girl at the waterfalls with the smiling and looking directly at the camera and the back cover of the rest of the wall that she is standing in front so they match. This is to show again that she is happy and it’s an image of showing that even though something bad has happened to her she is still smiling and still strong. This is an image that sells as everyone wants to feel like they are good. It also links into the single that is on the album that is about loving someone no matter what and in the video they break up. However on the side of the album I have put the black and white image of the girl sat of the bench not looking very happy. She is sat by herself looking very upset. And the other picture of just an empty bench that is also in black and white. This image can be applied for before and after. Before she was alone and by herself and now she is alone and by herself. I have put this is the inside as I believe that most girls can relate to the images and where they have been placed so I believe that it can sell more, they are all happy and cheerful on the surface but inside they feel alone and sad.

This is my final digipak cover. I have included on the back a list of songs that are in the CD which have been wrote in the same font and colour as the writing for the name of the artist and name of the album. I have also included a barcode in the bottom corner of the cd back which is very simular to what is on Christinia Perri album back cover. I wanted the front and the back of the cover to look as though it links together. While the inside links togther as well.

story board

this is a narrative story but like tzvetan todorv's theory something goes wrong. this is a love song about how
this girl finally meets the guy of her dreams. I have the expanded on that and have given them this whole life that has happened because she has finally met the guy she has been waiting for. I have included key scenes of which I think has significance between 2 people when they have finally met the one. this is what is classed as a 'cheesy' story line as it is the fantasy of what a perfect life with someone will be.but it ends more dramatically giving the whole song more meaning. it is very stereo typical way of thinking of it. the flash backs are meeting each other, first date, meeting parents, proposal, wedding and having an arguemnt. but the only time you will see the girl singing is when she is looking through the photo album in the livivng room. I have chosen to end the video by a shut of a door to signify that the end of the video has happened. the reason that she is looking through the photo album is that she has randomly found it while she was tidying up and wants to look through all their memories of someone who she is still in love with now.
